Tech How Episode 1: Removing DRM From iTunes Video Purchases [Video]
01Place4Tech is pleased to introduce to you a new how to tutorial show called Tech How.
In this introductory episode, Brian shares an excellent method to remove the DRM protection bundled in digital video that purchased from iTunes.
DRM:
Protection for digital media that is required by content creators, or owners in order for the content to be sold in digital form from various online media retailers, like iTunes. This protective layer restricts access to media to a specific number of devices, as well as device types. Once DRM is removed, the video files can be played without restriction anywhere.
This enables you take full ownership over your digital video content from iTunes like you would a Blu-Ray, or DVD. This is perfect for those that want to use iTunes, but own an Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry, or other mobile device, and wants to play these videos on these devices. This is also great for playback on home media devices like the Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
Software Featured in this video: Noteburner M4V Converter.
