Google has recently purchased the software marketing company,Wildfire, for a reported $250 million.  Google stated that the goal of acquiring the company is for “better and fresher content, and more meaningful interactions.”  On the company’s website, you will be greeted with the recent news.  There is also a personal message  there describing this move as a “new chapter of our story”.   It is also being said that this move was made, so that Google can expand further in social media.  Wildfire is a marketing company that allows and integrates web page designs, tweets, videos, ads, sponsorship, and other social media marketing on one platform.  With this new Google team member, the four year old company has stated that there will be “no changes to our service and support for our customers.”
