WWDC 2012 keynote Live Blog!
1Today is the day that Apple fans, and Apple haters have been waiting for, WWDC 2012 is here.
In less than 12 hours, Apple’s top execs will be joining CEO, Tim Cook on stage at San Francisco’s Moscone Center to reveal the direction it will be taking its iOS and OS X software platforms for the next year, with its mobile iOS 6 platform and OS X Mountain Lion for its Mac computer platform.
Apple may even reveal a few surprises that include a rumored complete Mac computer line-up refresh, with Retina displays, no optical drives and slimmer bodies. On the Mobile side, Apple is reportedly dumping Google Maps, opting for an in-house solution. And of course, there is the slimmest of slim possibilities that we will see a new iPhone revealed. One that may look like the rumored design floating around that features a slightly bigger screen, unibody case, and a two-tone metal and glass backplate.
Regardless of what Apple unveils, we are just happy that the day is finally upon us, so please join us for our live blog that will start shortly before 10AM PT on Monday, June 11th, 2012, check for your conveniently converted to local time below!
